Description

Medical Access Uganda Limited (MAUL) started in 1998 as a pilot project of the Joint United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) in collaboration with the Government of Uganda and participating pharmaceutical companies. MAUL specializes in Logistics and Supply Chain Management services for pharmaceutical products and health commodities, including essential drugs, ARVs, drugs for opportunistic infections (OIs), Laboratory Equipment, Reagents and Supplies, Rapid Test Kits (RTKs/RDTs), Safe Male Circumcision (SMC) kits and other supplies serving as a one-stop shop for forecasting, procurement, warehousing, inventory management, distribution, project management and consulting and Technical Assistance (TA) services.
MAUL’s clients are Ministry of Health accredited treatment and prevention centers whose programs are sponsored by among others; United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), United States President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI).
MAUL intends to prequalify providers of non-consultancy services in the categories listed in Annex A of the RFA document for the period 2024 to December 2027.
